Vinod Khosla, New Brand, and New Sponsor...
THREE, TWO, ONE...🚀
Fintech Fam, I’ve missed you all, but we’re back at it with THREE wildly exciting developments. New brand, new episode with Vinod Khosla, and new Sponsor 👀👇
First, For Fintech’s Sake is now Fintech Family Hour!
Why? Two reasons. We’ll cover that at the bottom. Keep scrolling for more because the second piece of news is too damn exciting to wait…
We are kicking this re-brand off in the best way possible by sharing a live interview with THE Vinod Khosla from Money20/20 in Vegas. We talk about his work with Sam Altman and solving proof of personhood through their Worldcoin cryptocurrency, abuse he is seeing in Crypto, how to innovate in hard times and we wrap up with Vinod issuing a challenge to the listeners! This interview was so damn fun and absolutely, completely surreal…enjoy :)
Third, FFH has a New & Exclusive Sponsor for the rest of 2023: FS VECTOR
FS Vector is The Firm for Innovative Financial Services. They provides advisory, advocacy, and training services to the ever expanding and changing the world of financial services.
I refer founder friends to FS Vector on a regular basis if they have questions about anything relating to how to structure their product, how to think about policy impacts on their business, and generally seeing around complex financial corners…and now they’re a sponsor! Go check them out and sign up for a free consultation at fsvector.com - I promise you’ll learn at least one thing you didn’t know before.
Okay, so…Why Fintech Family Hour?
One, fintech is growing up. It was time to have the brand grow up along with the industry. Also, I’ve aged…
Two, we are a fintech family. Not the corporate, “we’re a family,” BS, but actually a family. Chosen family, maybe, but a family. There is a ton of love in our industry. I might seem crazy as much as I talk about love and passion in finance, but it’s what drives me. It’s what drives many of us and the goodness of fintech.
And to be honest, I just couldn’t stare at that damn green anymore.
This will only resonate with Seinfeld fans (Season 9, Episode 6), but here was the moment of inspiration…
